Robins and Goldfinches

Two haikus inspired by some of my favorite garden guests:

“Robin”

Freshly fallen rain

in black plastic flower pots–

the robins’ birdbath.

 

“Goldfinch”

Goldfinches on trees

Yellow flowers that adorn

early afternoon.
